Applaud Oversight of Elon Musk’s Conflicts of Interest

We, the undersigned, applaud Representative Gerald Connolly and the Democratic members of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform for launching a crucial investigation into Elon Musk’s role within the Trump administration and his potential conflicts of interest.

Musk’s dual status as a billionaire CEO of government contractors and the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) raises serious ethical concerns. His business entanglements, including ties to foreign powers like China and Russia, a history of government contracts, and recent reports of illicit drug use, demand rigorous scrutiny — particularly when national security and public trust are at stake.
