Applaud Democrats for Hosting People’s Town Halls!

We celebrate the Democratic National Committee, Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, and state Democratic parties for stepping up where Republicans have failed—holding town halls to listen to the people. While GOP lawmakers hide from their own constituents and dismiss public outrage over Trump and Musk’s reckless government cuts as “paid troublemakers,” Democrats are ensuring that working families, veterans, and everyday Americans have a voice.

With the People’s Town Halls, Democrats are bringing public forums to every state, especially in vulnerable Republican-held districts, so that communities can express their concerns about cuts to veterans’ assistance, job losses, and attacks on public services. Unlike the GOP, which has chosen to run from accountability, Democrats are showing real leadership by engaging directly with voters.

We urge elected officials at all levels to continue standing with the people, listening to their concerns, and fighting for policies that uplift working families.
