After the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis by a federal agent, more Democratic lawmakers are calling for Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem to resign or face impeachment. Eight additional Democrats have now joined Rep. Robin Kelly’s impeachment resolution, bringing the total number of co-sponsors to 120.

This is what leadership looks like: demanding real accountability when federal agencies harm communities and then try to mislead the public about what happened. Under Noem’s watch, DHS has escalated dangerous enforcement tactics while offering excuses instead of answers.
