For two decades, CSPI has pushed the Treasury Department's Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau to require the same nutritional information for alcohol products that consumers expect when purchasing other foods and beverages. We took the department to court after years of inaction, and they finally agreed to propose rulemaking on mandatory alcohol labeling. Now it's up to us to ensure they follow through.
