Trump gutted FEMA to build ICE’s deportation machine. Reports confirm it: Trump’s Department of Homeland Security redirected more than $600 million of FEMA funding to support ICE and detention operations -- and reassigned more than 100 FEMA employees to support ICE instead of disaster response. 

Trump didn’t just weaken FEMA -- he dismantled disaster preparedness and relief infrastructure, siphoned away even more of its funding and personnel to ICE, and left Americans less protected from disasters.

Meanwhile, ICE just got the largest budget of any law enforcement agency: $85 billion, paid for by taxpayers. 

Trump had a choice: protect families from disasters or terrorize our communities, kidnap children, expand his deportation machine, and murder our neighbors. He chose ICE.

When the next hurricane hits, the next heat wave kills, the next wildfire spreads, Americans deserve a FEMA that’s fully staffed, fully funded, and ready to respond.

Tell Congress: Fund FEMA, not ICE.
