Since the National Democratic Redistricting Committee’s inception eight years ago, we have taken on — and defeated — some of the biggest threats to free and fair elections. But right now, we find ourselves in an unprecedented moment in the fight for democracy. 

At the direction of Donald Trump, Republicans are waging an all-out war to steal power before the midterm elections. They’re using illegal, discriminatory redistricting tactics to dilute voters’ power, particularly in communities of color.

It’s clear: This is an all-hands-on-deck moment. And democracy’s future depends on all of us working together to fight back.
