ACT NOW: 58.5 million acres of national forests are at risk

Nearly 60 million acres of our national forests have just been put on the literal chopping block. The Trump administration has revoked the “Roadless Rule,” in place since 2001 to protect fragile forest ecosystems from road construction and industrial development like logging and mining.

Now, cherished places like Tongass National Forest and Sequoia National Forest could be handed over to private corporations. Clean drinking water for 60 million people, wildfire mitigation, habitat for thousands of species of endangered animals, and recreation areas across the country could be sacrificed for profit.

Your voice is needed now to speak up for national forests and keep them out of the hands of corporate polluters.
