Thank Oregon’s Governor for Marijuana Pardons

Oregon Governor Kate Brown just pardoned an estimated 45,000 Oregon residents convicted of possessing cannabis. Any fines associated with the possession convictions were also fully forgiven.

"No one deserves to be forever saddled with the impacts of a conviction for simple possession of marijuana — a crime that is no longer on the books in Oregon,” Governor Brown said.
