Under the flimsy cover of a centuries-old law—the 1798 Alien Enemies Act—Trump’s administration is deporting alleged Venezuelan gang members without due process. Courts are pushing back, but the damage is already happening.

Even worse, the White House just admitted it accidentally deported American citizens to El Salvador. One man ended up in a high-security prison—beaten, starved, and stripped of his rights. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt even acknowledged that Trump “floated” the idea of deporting citizens. That’s not a policy—it's lawlessness.

This is what happens when hate-fueled politics overrides the Constitution.

No one—citizen or not—should be ripped from their home without a fair hearing. Trump’s reckless use of executive power is putting lives in danger and shredding the rule of law. His war on immigrants is becoming a war on all of us.
