Thank Pres. Biden for Investing in Solar

On Earth Day, the Biden administration announced that it is distributing $7 billion to solar projects around the country.

This announcement is intended to help develop long-lasting solar programs that enable low-income and disadvantaged communities to deploy and benefit from distributed residential solar. It will lower energy costs for families, create good-quality jobs in communities that have been left behind, advance environmental justice, and help tackle climate change.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency estimates the awards will fund solar projects that impact over 900,000 households. The grants were made possible by the Inflation Reduction Act, which President Biden signed in August 2022.
