Public Schools are not Sunday Schools

America was founded on the principle of religious freedom, not religious coercion. Our Constitution, the rule of law, and our rights and freedoms are under attack.

The U.S. Constitution enshrines the right to practice any religion or no religion at all. This is a line that should not be crossed, yet it was. The Louisiana governor just signed a law mandating that the Ten Commandments be displayed in public classrooms.

Where does this attack on our freedoms stop? Should MAGA Christian Conservatives be allowed to mandate a new national religion? Daily prayers by our children? Should our children be tested on their abilities to recite the Ten Commandments?

The separation of church and state principle ensures that no person is marginalized or alienated for choosing not to participate in religious activities or for practicing another religion.

Can you sign our petition for Congress to protect and champion the separation of Church and State?
